Deal stages represent the steps in your sales pipeline — from the moment a lead requests an estimate through to the job being completed. Customizing these stages ensures your pipeline reflects the way your team actually works.


Customizing your Deal Stages

  1. Go to Account Settings > Deals

  2. Click Add Stage.

  3. Enter the details for your new stage:

    • Stage Name – a clear label (e.g., “Estimate Sent,” “In Production”).

    • Stage Order – drag and drop to arrange the order of your stages in the pipeline.


Best Practices for Deal Stages

  • Keep stage names short and action-oriented (“Estimate Sent” vs. “Estimate has been emailed”).

  • Align stages with major milestones in your workflow (lead received, estimate sent, project scheduled, in production, won/lost).

  • Avoid adding too many stages — keep the pipeline easy to follow at a glance.
