What is a Deal?

A Deal represents a potential job or sale you're trying to win. It usually begins when a lead requests an estimate and continues through follow-ups, approvals, and—hopefully—a signed contract. Each deal can have:

  • One estimate

  • One invoice

  • Linked contact and company

  • Associated events, tasks, and tags

Think of a Deal as your way to track the progress of each opportunity from start to finish.

Welcome to Your Deals Board

The Deals board is where you’ll see all your opportunities organized by stage.

Board View

  • Deal Stages: Each column represents a stage in your sales pipeline.

  • Moving Deals: Drag and drop a Deal card into a new stage. The “Time in Stage” label updates automatically to show how long it has been there.

  • Organizing Columns: You can minimize or expand categories to keep your board tidy.

  • Filtering & Exporting: Use filters to narrow down by owner, status, or tags. Export deals if you need a file.

List View

If you prefer a table-style layout, switch to List View.

  • Entries Breakdown: Each row represents a Deal with key details like value, contact, and stage.

  • Headers & Categories: Click column headers to sort or customize which categories appear.

  • Editing Options: Use the “…” (More) menu to edit, delete, or archive a Deal.

  • Multi-Select: Select multiple Deals at once to archive or delete in bulk—or deselect with one click.

Deals Page

Click on a Deal to open its Deal Page, where you’ll find everything related to that opportunity.

  • Pipeline at the Top: Visualize the Deal’s current stage in your pipeline.

  • Owner Dropdown: Assign or change who owns the Deal.

  • Deal Details Cards: View the events, tasks, estimate, invoice, payments, tags, and contact for the project all in one place.

The Deal Page is your main hub for managing every detail of that opportunity.
