What is an Area?

An area refers to a distinct space like a bedroom, entire house, or deck, usually with specific dimensions. You have the flexibility to adjust the dimensions of a particular room, wall, or section you're working on.

Once you've nailed down your area details, you can select from various surfaces to start building your estimate. The price of the surfaces will automatically adjust based on the rates you've set in the Production Rates section of your Account Settings.

What is a Line Item?

A line item is a custom area you can design and add to the estimate. They're perfect for sharing details about your preparation, process, or overall scope with the customer. Line items can also include specific prices, hours, and materials that aren't tied to dimensions. Create line items within your Account Settings to easily populate them on your quote.Β
