When you first log in to PaintScout, you will be greeted by your Dashboard; a quick snapshot into your business. In this article, we will be breaking down what insights you can gain from each section so you can make the most of your metrics and implement data-driven decisions for your business!

Total Estimates

The 'Total Estimates' section provides a comprehensive overview of all estimates created by your team during a specified period. This includes estimates in different stages such as Sent, Viewed, Accepted, On Hold, and Declined. Estimates in Draft status are not considered in this section.

The Sent and Viewed estimates are presented in the order of their creation dates, providing a chronological view of your estimating activities.

Accepted estimates, on the other hand, are organized based on their acceptance dates. This allows you to gauge your close rate effectively and understand your team's performance in converting estimates to successful deals.

By expanding this section, you can access a detailed list of all the total estimates.

Estimates Closed

This refers to the number of accepted estimates. When filtering, estimates will be classified based on the date they were accepted. Similarly to the total estimates, you can click on the box to expand a list of closed estimates!

Estimates Open

This section shows all of the estimates that have yet to receive a firm yes or no answer from your customer, essentially any estimate that remains in a Sent or Viewed status. Again, you can click on the box to expand a list of open estimates! Use this section as a quick reference for estimates that may require additional care to close the sale!
