How Customers Make a Payment

This article will walk you through the workflow of how to make a payment from your customer's point of view. By understanding how your customers experience the process, you'll be able to provide them with clear and detailed instructions, resulting in an improved customer experience.

  1. Once you've sent a Payment Request to your customer, they will promptly receive an email containing a direct link to their invoice.

  2. Upon opening the invoice, your customers will notice the requested amount and the total invoice amount clearly displayed at the top. This helps them understand the payment details right away.


  3. To proceed with a credit card payment, your customer will find the Pay by Credit Card button. When they click on this button, they will be directed to the Pay screen, where they can conveniently enter their card details.


  4. After entering the required information, your customer simply needs to click the Pay button located on the right side of the screen to confirm their payment.

  5. Once the payment is successfully made, it will be recorded in the Payments section and they will automatically receive your Payment Received Email. Additionally, the balance due will automatically update, providing you with accurate and up-to-date information.
