What is a Crew Note?
A crew note is a note that is hidden from the customer and only shows on the work order. You can write crew notes in 4 different places:
Option 1: On an Area
Include a note for your team about an entire area such as the office.
1. Open the area and select the add notes button along the bottom.
2. Include your note in the crew note section.
3. This note will show on the work order at the bottom of the area.
Option 2: On a Surface
1. Open the surface you would like to add a crew note to and click the Notes button. Include your note in the crew note section.
2. This note will appear on the work order below the given surface.
Option 3: On a Line Item
1. Open the line item and select the Notes button to add your crew note.
2. This note will appear on the work order below the line item.
Option 4: At the top of the Work Order
1. Toggle to the work order page, and add a general note at the top!

Other Options:
Establish default crew notes by crafting a crew note for a surface in your settings. This ensures that these notes consistently show up whenever the surface is added to new estimates.
