PaintScout is designed to help you easily build and send estimates. Before you get started, it's important to know which browsers and devices are compatible with our platform.
For Estimators (users):
If you're an estimator and you want to log in and create estimates with PaintScout, you can use a smartphone, tablet, or computer to access the platform. Please ensure that your software requirements are up to date. We require iOS 11 or higher for Apple users.
Most modern browsers are supported, including Safari, Chrome, and Firefox. We recommend not using a private or incognito browser tab when using PaintScout.
For (your) Customers:
Your customers have the same browser and device requirements when viewing estimates. However, if they don't meet these requirements, don't worry! You can copy a link to the estimate or download as PDF so that you can still send the information.
Estimate Link
Click the drop-down arrow beside the send button and Copy Estimate Link (make sure to copy the tracking link so you can still see when they view it!).
Download PDF
Click the drop-down arrow beside the send button and Download Estimate.
It's important to note that if you do download the PDF and send it to them manually, it will not trigger the tracking (i.e. you won't be able to see when customers view the estimate).
