# Edit a Task

Sometimes details change — you may need to adjust a due date, reassign a task, or update its description.

## Editing a Task

1. Locate the task you want to update (from Tasks page, or deal/contact/company)
2. Click directly on the task or the **"..." (More)** menu beside the task & edit.
3. In the edit dialog, you can update:
   * **Task Title**
   * **Assigned User**
   * **Description**
   * **Due Date & Time**
4. Click **Save** to confirm your changes.

**Pro tip:** When you reassign a task to another user, it will immediately appear in their task list and activity logs, keeping everyone aligned.
