Areas and line items cannot be deleted directly from the quote, you need to archive it first. This is to prevent you from "accidentally" deleting something you didn't want to delete. By archiving items they will appear in the "Archived" section of your quote. From there, you can move them back to the quote, or delete them!

How to Archive an Area or Line Item from a Quote? 2 Different ways!

Method 1: Click the checkbox of the area/line item you would like to archive. Then select "Archive."

Method 2: Click the 3-dot icon to the right of the item, then select "Archive."

How to Archive a Substrate from an Area?

Click on the Area of the Substrate you want to archive (i.e. Office). Then click the 3-dot icon on the far right of the substrate, and press "Archive."

How to View Archived Items

Items will then appear in the Archived Section of the Quote (tab located at the top of your Quote)

Items that are saved in the Archive Section of the quote can be added to the quote at a later time, or permanently deleted.

How to Move Item(s) back to the Quote? (i.e. unarchive) - 2 Different Ways!

Method 1: In the Archived Section, click the checkboxes of the item(s) you want to unarchive. Then click "Move to Quote." This method is helpful if wanting to unarchive multiple items!

Method 2: Click the 3-dot icon to the far right of the item you want to unarchive, and press "Move to Quote."

How to Permanently Delete Items?

To delete items off your quote, you need to archive them first. From the Archived section on your quote, select the item you want to delete by using the checkboxes on the left side of the item, or the 3-dot icon on the right side of the item.

This will permanently delete the item from your quote, and you will be unable to retrieve it.
